ABOUT ME
About Me – Akhtar Patel
Hi, I’m Akhtar Patel. I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 32 years now. It all started back in 1999 when I finally got my first bike — a Royal Enfield Standard 350. But the love for riding began much earlier.
Before owning my own motorcycle, I used to borrow bikes from friends — whether it was the good old Bajaj Chetak, Yamaha RX 100, or the Hero Honda CD 100. My very first long ride was from Mumbai to Shirdi — not on a bike, but on a cycle. That’s how far the passion went even back then.
Since getting my first Enfield, there’s been no looking back. I’ve clocked around 3 to 3.5 lakh kilometers on various bikes over the years, exploring places, meeting people, and chasing that feeling of freedom only a ride can give.
Today, I ride a mix of classics and modern machines — a Royal Enfield Himalayan 410, Interceptor 650, Triumph Street Triple, my old Yamaha RX 100, and a Royal Enfield Standard 500. But no matter how many bikes I ride, Royal Enfield still holds a special place in my heart.
This journey is more than just about machines — it’s a way of life.

The Ride That Unites
Hum Sab Ek Hai – We All Are Indians

“Hum Sab Ek Hai” — it’s more than just a phrase. It’s a belief that has guided me on the road and in life.
As a rider, I’ve always felt that the road doesn’t care about your religion, language, or background. It welcomes everyone the same. That idea inspired me to start a ride series across India that carries a deeper message of unity and peace.
Each of these rides is shaped around a powerful symbol —
- 786 Ride
- Om (ॐ) Ride
- Upcoming: Cross ✝️ and Ek Onkar ੴ
